Crown Institute of Higher Education Moodle Login
If you want to login cihe moodle you will need the username and password of the CIHE so get it from the university or college first and then you login to moodle.
- Step 1
First Open this webpage link moodle.cihe.edu.au. - Step 2
Enter your Username and Password in the field. - Step 3
Tick on ‘Remember username’ option. - Step 4

Forgot or Reset Moodle CIHE Login Password
To reset your password, submit your username or your email address below. If you can find in the database, an email will be sent to your email address, with instructions how to get access again.
If you forget your password after logging in to moodle account, you can reset or change it, for which you need to follow the steps below.

- If you want to reset or forget the password of Moodle by Username, you have to enter the Username used while logging in to your Moodle in the ‘Search by username’ field.

How to Creating a new Moodle course ?
By default a regular teacher cannot add a new course. To add a new course to Moodle you need to have either an Administrator, Manager or Course Creator role.
Add a course
- Go to Administration>Site Administration>Courses>Add/edit courses.
- Choose the category where you want your course to be.
- Click the Add a new course button.
- Enter the course settings and click the Save changes button.
- On the next screen, choose the teacher to assign to the course.
Course Settings
- Course full name
This is the name of the course. It is displayed as a link on course lists on the Front page and on My home and in reports. It is also used in the browser title bar when the course is viewed. - Course short name
The short name must be unique on the site and represents the shorthand for the full name. It is used in several places where the long name is not appropriate, such as the Navigation block. - Course category
The site administrator may have created course categories to help teachers and students find their courses easily. Course categories may be reflected in the Navigation block. - Course start date
This setting affects the display of logs and the weekly format topic dates. If you use the Weekly course format, the start date will appear in the first section of the course. - Visible
Here you can hide your course completely. It will not appear on any course listings, except for managers, course creators, teachers and any other users with the view hidden courses capability. - ID number
The ID number is an alphanumeric field which can be used to match this course against an external system’s ID, as your course catalogue ID or can be used in the certificate module as a printed field.
Description
- Course summary
The summary appears on the course listings page. This field is searched when searching for a course and also appears in the Course/Site description block. - Course summary files
An image and if allowed by the administrator, other file types may be attached to the course summary.
Course format
- Weekly format
The course is organized week by week, with a clear start date and a finish date. Moodle will create a section for each week of your course. - Topics format
The course is organised into topic sections that a teacher can give titles to. Each topic section consists of activities, resources and labels. - Social format
This format is oriented around one main forum, the social forum, which appears listed on the main page. It is useful for situations that are more free form. - SCORM format
The SCORM format only has and allows teachers to insert a pre-built SCORM package. Moodle can use SCORM packages as a content type, SCORM module or as a course format.

If the site administrator has allowed the teacher to set a course theme, this pull down menu will appear with a list of themes on the site. - Force language
If you force a language in a course, the interface of Moodle in this course will be in the forced language, even if a student has selected a different preferred language in his/her personal profile.

A. Locate or search for the desired course and click on the course name. If your teacher has given you an enrollment key, enter it when prompted, and click Enroll me in this course. Once you are enrolled in a course, it will appear under My courses any time that your are logged into that Moodle.
